Centre for Development and Research (CDR) is registered as a Society under Andhra Pradesh Societies Registration Act. a not-for profit organisation. Donations to CDR are exempt from taxes under relevant laws.

Partner Organizations

Centre for Development and Research (CDR) has the privilege of working as a partner with the MMS and SERP are the two important partners of CDR.

Mandal Mahila Samakhyas (MMS):

Mandal Mahila Samakhyas (MMS) and its network of womens Self Help Groups (SHGs). The Presidents of the individual SHGs in the village form their Village Organisation (VO). All the Presidents of the VOs in the mandal together form the Mandala Mahila Samakhyas (MMS). The MMS is a registered autonomous organisation which is supported and nurtured by the Society for Elimination of Rural Poverty (SERP) across the State.

Society for Elimination of Rural Poverty (SERP)

SERP is also an autonomous registered organisation under the Ministry of Rural Development, Government of Andhra Pradesh. SERP provides financial and technical support to the Mandala Mahila Samakhyas for different programmes.

In addition

CDR shall post a half-yearly report of child wise learning outcomes of the school to its Sponsor Partner.

It shall encourage the PCs and the teachers to correspond with their Sponsor Partners.

Photographs of the school and the children shall be sent to all Sponsor Partners.

Annual Cost of a School

The recurring and non-recurring cost of Mava Nate’ Mava Sada for 25 children is as below.

01 Teacher salary @ Rs. 2000 PM	24,000

03 Coordinator’s salary @ Rs.3000 PM ( One Coordinator for every ten schools. )
04 Teaching learning material (TLM), one time	5,000

Cost per child per month excluding one time costs works out to Rs.143.
Cost per child per month including one time costs works out to Rs.193.

The first year cost will be as shown above. The cost for the rest of five years will be only Rs.42,850 per year or Rs.143 per child per month.

A Sponsor Partner can consider adopting a single batch of pre primary class children in one or more schools for six years till the batch completes 5th Standard. Sponsorship amount can be sent annually.
